YT Shorts Remover hides YouTube Shorts sections and links, can block
/shorts pages with an optional redirect, and stops Shorts from endlessly scrolling – all
controlled with three simple settings.
What the extension does
The extension directly adjusts how Shorts appear and behave on YouTube so you can keep full‑length videos front and center.

Hide Shorts across YouTube pages – Removes Shorts shelves and carousels from
the homepage and other feeds, hides video tiles that link to
/shorts/…, and hides the Shorts button in the sidebar. -
Block Shorts pages with redirect – When you open a
youtube.com/shorts/…link, the extension can automatically redirect you back to the main YouTube site. A small “Short blocked!” alert lets you know why the page changed. - Stop endless scrolling in Shorts – If you do open the Shorts player, the extension can remove all but the first Short in the sequence, effectively stopping the vertical infinite scroll of new Shorts.
How it works
All behavior is controlled by the popup that opens when you click the extension icon in Chrome. There are three independent settings:

- Remove shorts from pages On / Off
- Redirect Shorts to YouTube On / Off
All three options are enabled by default. You can turn any feature on or off at any time without reloading the extension.
